Florida has been sending baseball teams to the Little League World Series since 1948. We are devoted to continuing the tradition of developing young boys & girls into productive & successful adults through the life lessons that can be learned while playing baseball.
It can be difficult to manage a youth sports league in your community. Leagues are not only tasked with managing players; they have to manage the logistics of the league as well. Concession sales, umpires, fields, equipment, organization compliance, it gets complicated fast. That is where the Little League District Administrator comes in.
The Little League District Administrator is the local contact and advisor for leagues to contact. The DA is a volunteer with extensive knowledge of the program and its intricacies, and can be a miracle worker for your league. The Florida DAs Association is the support organization for the 23 District Administrator volunteers stationed throughout Florida.
A District 12 volunteer since 1979. He is also the Southeast Region Safety Officer. In 2018 Gary was awarded the Little League Presidents Award.
Mike is a volunteer umpire from District 8. Mike has been a volunteer umpire for over 20 years and was a Little League World Series Umpire in 2009.
